Here at Fly-in-Spain we offer various types of flight training throughout the whole year with each course designed specifically for your individual needs.
We have been successfully training pilots from all over Europe and afar for the past 5 years in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain at a moderately busy aerodrome offering students the opportunity to fly next to commercial airlines.
We have two certified flight schools one in England and the other in Germany with approval to train in Spain, thus allowing us to provide improved training opportunities and take advantage of the excellent weather conditions.
The training conducted under the CAA – UK training facility will be done entirely in English with our experienced UK flight instructors.
The advanced training (for example IR, CPL and FI courses) is carried out in co-operation with a German FTO (Flight Training Organisation.) This training is offered in English or German.
Our training programme includes the following:
- Private pilots licence according to JAR-FCL in English or German.
- Conversion from other classes such as Glider Pilot and UL to PPL.
- Conversion to JAR-FCL licenses from the “old” PPL (ICAO and FAA) – (without CVFR - only for German Pilots)
- Multi-Engine Rating.
- Instrument Rating.
- Commercial Pilots Licence.
- IMC Rating.
- Night Rating. (Between October and March only.)
- English Radio Telephony training and practical tests.
Other services provided:
- Licence renewals for PPL Single and Multi-Engine.
- Check flights for IR and CPL.
- Class Ratings and Differences Training - variable pitch propeller, retractable gear etc.
- Refresher training courses for VFR and IFR.
Our Philosophy:
To provide compact, goal orientated training for the PPL and Advanced Courses.
Based on a full time course, the JAA PPL takes on average 3 to 4 weeks depending on the individuals experience and preparation.
We also realise that due to an individuals busy schedule the course itself can be split into segments to suit your requirements.
We endeavour to keep you with one flight instructor throughout your course to provide continuity within your training schedule.
We have a better opportunity to fly consistently with the excellent weather conditions here in sunny Spain!
